Factsheet: Dwangstoornis – Jeugd

Een kind dat allerlei handelingen steeds maar opnieuw wil doen, omdat het bang is dat er anders iets ergs gebeurt of omdat het een gevoel heeft dat dat moet, heeft een dwangstoornis. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn veel en uitvoerig handenwassen, urenlange wasrituelen onder de douche, veel te vaak controleren of deuren en ramen dichtzijn, controleren of spullen wel goed liggen of veel overbodige vragen stellen aan ouders. In deze factsheet lees je meer over cognitieve gedragstherapie bij kinderen en jongeren met een dwangstoornis.
