Factsheet: Tinnitus

Tinnitus, of oorsuizen, is de voortdurende waarneming van een geluid zoals piepen, brommen of ruisen, zonder externe geluidsbron. Patiënten zoeken hulp voor tinnitus wanneer de tinnituswaarneming cognitieve, emotionele en gedragsmatige belemmeringen oplevert in het dagelijks functioneren.
